Breathe In Life
Have you ever been so stressed, angry, worried or focused that you forgot to breathe? This lady would often overwhelm herself with events going on in the world to the point she would have panic attacks and would either hold her breath or hyperventilate. Made this for her to remind her that life can be more simple, and to remember to breathe.
Not too long ago, we mainly had local news on tv or newspapers that you’d see or read a few times in the day. Today, with every person including young children having access to social media on their phones filled with streams and click bait, it is too easy to overwhelm ourselves with news and events from every crevice of the world. And we wonder why our youth are anxious and stressed.
Confucious stated, “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” We can quickly reduce our negative and toxic exposure by being mindful of what we choose or choose not to hear, watch, and allow into our lives.
So, when life gets complicated, simplify your life. Return to the basics… and breathe.
